Come make music with the Belmont Community Band or Belmont Community Orchestra!

Belmont’s booster organization for music education, POMS (Parents of Music Students), is excited to announce that the Belmont Community Ensembles are back this fall!

This 10-week program is a special opportunity for parents, teachers, neighbors and friends in our surrounding community to share a love of music and experience the fun of playing together.

Developed in collaboration with Powers Music School, the Belmont Community Band, under the direction of John McLellan, and the Belmont Community Orchestra, under the direction of Marshunda Smith, welcome adult musicians of all skill levels.  A portion of each participation fee helps POMS support K-12 music in the Belmont Public Schools with guest artists and conductors, instruments and equipment, scholarships and more.

Whether you are a capable musician, a new player, or a former high school musician who wants to experience the joy of playing together with others again, the Belmont Community Band or Belmont Community Orchestra is for you!
