The first day of school for the 2026-27 school year is Wednesday, September 2nd

Belmont Public Schools: Year 2027-2028
For families already planning ahead for summer 2027, the Belmont School Committee has approved Wednesday, September 1, 2027, as the first day of school for students for the 2027–2028 school year. When Labor Day falls after September 3, the school year begins on the Wednesday before Labor Day.
