Volunteering
Belmont Public Schools provide many opportunities for parents, guardians, and community members to participate in the students’ school experience. We welcome and appreciate volunteers, who enrich the students’ learning experience and provide additional helping hands during the school day.
In order to keep the school environment safe and secure for our students, we require all adult volunteers – including those recruited and/or paid by school PTO/PTA organizations – to complete all of the following requirements before participating in school or at events held on school premises:
Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities are shared through a variety of school and parent organization channels, including PTA/PTO/SO communications, school newsletters, room parents, and event-specific outreach. While each school recruits volunteers in slightly different ways, families can find opportunities ranging from field trip chaperoning and library support to special events and enrichment activities. Families interested in getting involved can find volunteer opportunities for each school through the links below.
