FBE Teacher Award
Belmont students attended the METCO Directors Association’s annual Youth Conference at MIT yesterday, joining peers from 33 districts for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration. Centered on the theme “My Plan, My Purpose,” the conference brought together students in grades 9–12 for leadership development, college and career workshops, and networking opportunities. We’re proud of our students for representing Belmont and participating in this event!

METCO BHS Students
During lunch today, BMHS students got an important railroad crossing safety lesson thanks to volunteers from Operation Lifesaver! Along with fun giveaways and engaging conversations, students received valuable rail safety tips—how to stay alert near tracks, avoid dangerous situations, and what to do when approaching railroad crossings while driving. A big thank you to Operation Lifesaver for helping keep our community safe!

This morning, BHS students proudly shared their cultures—bringing foods and traditions from around the world! With cultures representing Albania, Egypt, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Russia, Vietnam, and many more, our cafeteria transformed into a vibrant world tour of flavors and heritage. Visitors moved from table to table discovering colorful posters, delicious foods, and meaningful traditions from across our student community. The Cultural Expo is a favorite BHS tradition—a celebration of identity, family roots, and the diversity that strengthens our school community. Thank you to all the students, staff, and custodians who made this year’s Cultural Expo amazing!
