What's Happening in Guidance?

PSAT Practice Exam

Give your Sophomore student a PSAT practice run with Revolution Prep! These exams mirror the official test format, timing, and tools—like the on-screen graphing calculator, digital notes, and answer elimination.

Why This Matters? After the exam, you’ll meet with a Revolution Prep testing expert for a 30-minute score review. This is where families unlock their student’s testing strategy—which test fits best, when to take it, and whether a class or tutoring is the strongest next step.

2026-2027 Course Selection: Key Dates and Information

Please note the following important deadlines for the course selection process:

  • Course Request Forms are DUE: Friday, February 27, 2026!

  • Deadline for Course Placement Review Forms: March 27, 2026! (Use the link below to find the form if you are considering moving up a level in a specific content area.)

Guidance Meetings: Guidance counselors will meet with each student throughout the first three weeks of March to finalize course requests for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This will be the time to ask any questions you have about next year's courses.

Junior Future Planning Night

On the evening of January 29, 2026 at 6:30pm, BHS Guidance hosted a Junior Future Planning Night webinar for the students and caregivers of the Class of 2027. We provided information on the college process, as well as other pathways for students to consider.

The evening also included 3 college representatives from Bentley University, Syracuse University and UMass Amherst.

Questions that were submitted were answered at the end of the presentation, so no additional document will be provided.

2025 PSAT Results & Resources

If you took the PSAT/NMSQT at BHS on 10/18 scores have been released. Please log into your college board account to get your results, or if you signed up for the  mobile app you should have received a text with directions on how to access your results.

Students/Families Who Are Moving Out of District

Please complete and email this withdrawal form here only IF your student is NOT returning to BHS in September 2025.  When the form is complete please email it to Carole Sceppa at csceppa@belmontschools.net. Once the form is received school records can be sent to the new school.
