Boosters Grant Program 2025

Background
All recognized BHS athletic programs are eligible to apply for a Belmont Boosters grant (“Grant”). Before an application can be considered, the
Grant Application Form must be completed and approved by BHS Athletic Director Adam Pritchard.

Once approved, the application is reviewed by the Belmont Boosters Board of Directors. The Board generally meets monthly and considers most applications within 30–45 days of receipt. In rare cases, an application may require approval from the full Belmont Boosters membership, which can extend the review period to up to three months.

Payment
Grant recipients agree to cooperate with the Belmont Boosters to ensure payments are processed efficiently and in compliance with nonprofit requirements. Prior to payment, recipients may be asked to provide appropriate documentation, such as quotes, receipts, invoices, vendor W-9 forms, and other materials required by a 501(c)(3) organization.

Because the Boosters do not issue open-ended grants, recipients are typically required to use awarded funds within one year of the Grant Application’s approval date.

Publicity
The Belmont Boosters rely almost entirely on community fundraising to support their mission. Grant recipients are encouraged to acknowledge the Boosters whenever possible—in publications, ad books, newsletters, newspaper articles, and editorials.

The Boosters are also eager to see their “B” logo displayed publicly, especially in connection with funded projects such as wrestling mats, scoreboards, and other visible equipment or facilities.
