PTO Clubs

CUE PTO Clubs is an optional program of fun extracurricular activities for Chenery students. It's an easy, sociable way to explore a wide range of hobbies like crochet, coding or chess!

The program is organized by PTO volunteers, who liaise with CUE teachers to run the activities.

How Does It Work?

  • There are 3 sessions of PTO Clubs per school year (Fall, Winter & Spring).

  • Fall and Winter run for 8 weeks; Spring runs for 6 weeks

  • Each PTO Club activity runs once a week

  • Students stay on at CUE after school ends to join their PTO Club activity

  • The activities start at 2.30pm and end at either 3.30pm or 4pm.

  • Students who usually take the bus home will need to make alternative transport arrangements.

How Much Does It Cost?

  • The 60-minute program fee is $140

  • The 90-minute program fee is $200

(These fees are lower than the last session because the Spring session lasts 6 instead of 8 weeks)

By paying for PTO Clubs, you're helping your CUE Community! Income from PTO Clubs goes to the CUE PTO to help fund events and initiatives that benefit our whole CUE Community of students, staff and families - like Field Trips, school supplies, fun community events...and much, much more.

Financial Assistance:

Financial assistance is available for families who need support covering the cost of PTO Clubs.

If you would not be able to participate without financial help, you may use one financial assistance promo code per student per session (Fall, Winter, Spring).

If you have more than one student, you will need to process a separate cart for each of them.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE CODES:

  • spring60min$140 (for any 60 min program)

  • spring90min$200 (for any 90 min program)

How To Sign Up:

  • Registration opens in advance of each session via the link below - watch for emails (and reminders!) to sign up on time.

  • For Spring 2026, registration will open on Friday March 27 at 8pm.

  • The Spring 2026 session runs from April 6 to May 22.

  • Sign-up is on a first come, first served basis - each activity has a maximum number of students that can be enrolled; some classes fill up especially fast.

  • Payment by MasterCard or Visa is required upon registration, unless a student is placed on the waitlist or requests financial assistance.

  • There is a waitlist option, so if an activity is full, you can still sign up and see if a space becomes available. We do have movement off the waitlist each session.

     

Did You Know...

PTO Clubs are one of a few after school options at Chenery:

  • CUE Clubs are specialist activities led by school staff (Chamber Singers, Math Club, Student Council...), with one annual flat fee due to the school, regardless of how many CUE Clubs your child does.

  • BASEC runs activities as part of its after school program.
