Before and After Care

BASEC @ Chenery

BASEC (Belmont After School Enrichment Collaborative) is a nonprofit out-of-school time organization serving students in Belmont. BASEC's program at the Chenery provides a safe, engaging, and inclusive community where children learn, play, and grow through a balance of academic support, enrichment, play, and social-emotional learning.

BASEC's programming includes homework support, STEM, arts, sports, community-building, and hands-on experiential learning designed to support the whole child. Through strong relationships with families and the CUE, BASEC creates meaningful opportunities for students to build confidence, independence, collaboration skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

BASEC @ Chenery, is offered to all students in grades 4th-6th. The program operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:25–6:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1:15–6:00 p.m. On early release days, programming runs from 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
