CUE PTO After School Enrichment is an optional program of fun extracurricular activities for Chenery students - it's an easy, sociable way to explore a wide range of hobbies like crochet, coding or chess!

The program is organized by PTO volunteers, who liaise with CUE teachers to run the activities.

• Each session of ASEs runs for 8 weeks, with 3 sessions per school year (Fall, Winter & Spring).

• Each ASE activity runs once a week

• Students stay on at CUE after school ends to join their ASE activity

• The activities start at 2.30pm and end at either 3.30pm or 4pm.

• Students who usually take the bus home will need to make alternative transport arrangements.

• The 60-minute program fee is $185

• The 90-minute program fee is $260

(These fees are higher than for the 2024-25 school year because each session now includes 2 extra classes, lasting 8 instead of 6 weeks)

Financial Aid is available. No proof of financial need is required. Each student may receive one program of activities via financial aid per session.

For the Fall 2025 Session, to access financial aid please enter the codes below upon registration:

• 60min$185 (for any 60 min program)

• 90min$260 (for any 90 min program)

• Registration opens in advance of each session via the link below - watch for emails (and reminders!) to sign up on time. For Fall 2025, registration will open on Sept 22.

• Sign-up is on a first come, first served basis - each activity has a maximum number of students that can be enrolled; some classes fill up especially fast.

• Payment by MasterCard or Visa is required upon registration, unless a student is placed on the waitlist or requests financial assistance.

• There is a waitlist option, so if an activity is full, you can still sign up and see if a space becomes available. We do have movement off the waitlist each session.

   

PTO ASE is one of several after school options at Chenery:

• CUE Clubs are specialist activities led by school staff (Chamber Singers, Math Club, Student Council...)

• BASEC runs workshops as part of its after school program
