This morning, students gathered to honor Memorial Day and pay tribute to hometown veterans. At Belmont High School, the BHS Band and Chorus led a program of patriotic music and reflection, while Wellington and Winn Brook students performed songs recognizing the courage and sacrifice of veterans and all who serve.

These events offered a chance to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of the sacrifices of others. As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we pause to thank a veteran and honor all who have served.
