Parent Teacher Conferences

Each conference is 20 minutes long. During the scheduled conference, if your child is in grade 7, or 8, you will meet with your child’s Math/Science teacher(s) for 10 minutes and then for 10 minutes with your child's ELA/Social Studies teacher(s). Teachers will guide you within your conference time frame.

If you would like to meet with your child’s Foreign Language teacher please note that they will NOT be present during the team conference with ELA, SS, Science, and Math teachers since they teach students on all teams, not one single team.

Conferences with Foreign Language teachers can be arranged by signing up using the same system as with team conferences. If you choose to sign up for a separate conference with your child’s Foreign Language Teacher, please make sure you reserve enough time in between to travel from one room to another. It should be no less than 30 minutes between the start of each conferences.

This is an opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers regarding your child’s progress in the class and/or concerns you may have about your child’s progress in the class.

Middle School Scheduling System

With the online registration service, parents can:

  • Register for conferences 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the registration period.

  • You can find your child’s team name on your ParentPlus portal account.

  • If you are scheduling conferences for children on different teams, please make sure you have enough time to move from one location to another.

  • If you scheduling conferences for twins on the same team, please register twice using a different email account for each.

  • View, print, and e-mail their conference schedule.

  • Return at any time to reschedule a conference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do parents register for a conference?

To register for a conference, go to the scheduling system listed above. On the registration form, enter your name, e-mail, password, address, phone number, and student name/grade level and then click on “Register”.

At the next screen, select the name of your child’s team. Once you have selected a team, you will be asked to select an available conference time. After selecting a conference time, you will then be able to finalize your selection - print or e-mail your schedule.

If I have difficulty registering, who do I contact?

Please send your question to the Conference Coordinator by using this form Contact Conference Coordinator. Do not contact your child’s teacher. Please include your name, your child’s full name, school they attend, and teacher/team.

What happens if I cannot make any of the listed conference times?

Conferences can always be scheduled offline. Please contact your child’s team directly.

How do I change my conference times?

To change your conference time, go to: Middle School Scheduling System and log back into the system using your e-mail address. You can then delete the old conference time and add a new one. Please do not contact your teacher unless no times are available.
