This is the most significant financial contribution we make every year to the school. The PTA covers ALL costs associated with our Enrichment Program - this means every field trip and every in-school presentation for every grade. Winn Brook staff and students are never charged for admission, tickets, or busing.
Every year the PTA creates, prints, and gifts a Student Directory to each Winn Brook family.
Every teacher is given an annual allowance for classroom expenses.
The PTA makes every effort to keep important social and academic events free to our Winn Brook Community to maximize participation and inclusivity. These include Ice Cream Socials, Multicultural Night, Skate Night, STEM Night, Movie Night, Kindergarten Popsicle Playdates, Walk to School Days, and more. In addition, we provide opportunities for our families to volunteer and do charitable works through our annual Toy and Food Drives.
We share some love and gratitude by providing monthly treats and goodies in the staffroom and holding an entire Appreciation Week in May.
The PTA provides regular deliveries of much needed classroom essentials to the school (tissues, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, and Expo markers) for all staff to use.
The PTA organizes annual school and class photos for students and staff.
Separate from the annual operating budget, some exciting capital projects are in the works including a library renovation, fan installation throughout the school, bike rack installation, and overall support as we transition Winn Brook from a K-4 to a K-3 school next year.
