We enjoyed seeing many of you this past week at the Book Fair! Thanks for supporting the PTO, our teacher wish lists and our school library. A kind reminder that Wednesday is an 11:40am early dismissal (no lunch is served) and school is closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. We hope that you and your families enjoy the break.
We started off this week with our monthly teacher appreciation, restocking supplies so they have nice warm beverages for the winter season!
School Picture Retake / Makeup Day is Tuesday, November 28th Preschool and all grades K-4 will have an opportunity to retake or makeup their school pictures if they missed school picture day. See the flyer for details. Note that online pre-ordering is not available with retakes.

Winter Coat Drive We will be collecting gently used or new, clean adult and child winter coats and children’s snowpants from December 1-15th. Donations can be dropped in the boxes at both Wellington school entrances. All donations will benefit Children's Services of Roxbury. Thank you to Nomita Ganguly and her daughter Mira for leading the initiative again this year!

You may have noticed a different look and feel this year; the fair was brought to you by a new and local vendor, Best Book Fairs. We hope that the range in our selection of books and quality of the content met the interest of your young readers!
Our 3rd grade enrichment coordinators and chaperones for organizing the 3rd grade field trip to Plymouth Patuxet Museum!
The PTO runs on our volunteer engine and we have many opportunities throughout the year for families and guardians to participate and support our students. The best place to start is by completing our PTO Volunteer Interest form - here.
Important note to all volunteers: Everyone will receive a CORI form (one per household - feel free to make a copy) in your Communications Folder. If you can support the PTO and would like to volunteer, CORI forms are required for every parent volunteer. You must bring the completed form and a form of ID to the Wellington office to complete the process. CORIs are valid for three years! We highly recommend you get these completed early in the school year.

Traffic Safety - Please remember to be considerate when parking around Wellington and do not block the crosswalks or the driveways of our neighbors. There is no active pick up. Please do not pull into the parking lot or driveway at dismissal to retrieve your child.
