The Whaleys have arrived! Need a great holiday gift for your student(s)? Or just want to add a cute super soft stuffy to your home? We’ll be selling Whaleys ($10) and Car Magnets ($5) on Monday, December 12th during our Spirit Wear gift pick up - more details below...

Notable Mentions

  • The PTO's Holiday Appreciation Luncheon is next Friday, December 16th (8:00-8:30am (item drop-off) 10:30am (serving start time) - The PTO hosts appreciation events throughout the school year, and we'd love your help! During this holiday season, let's show our appreciation for all that the Wellington teachers and staff do for our children. Please consider sharing a special holiday baked item or a favorite cultural dish! The PTO receives many words and notes of thanks as these quarterly events are a highlight of the school year. We typically serve around 100 teachers and staff, so your support is greatly appreciated! https://signup.com/go/rrtqydn
  • Spirit Wear Pickup Event: Monday Dec. 12 - Spirit Wear is here for the holidays! We will be delivering orders to classrooms this week and hosting a pickup event for gift orders after school on Monday December 12 from 2:30 - 3:30 and 4:30 - 6 pm on the Green Playground side of the school (and just inside during Aftercare pickup). If you marked your order as a gift, please collect your items during these hours! Additional Whaley stuffies and magnets will also be available for sale. Please note that flannel pants have not yet come in, so we will plan to have another pickup and distribution event in January -- we apologize for the inconvenience.
  • The Lost and Found is full! Calling all parents and guardians: please stop by the Lost and Found (beside the cafeteria) at dismissal or After Care pick-up between now and Dec 14th to collect your belongings. Thank You To...

Selecting this year’s Spirit Wear and our cuddly new Whaley stuffy - and all of the logistics that go into overseeing this fundraiser - was a tall order! Lucy Seche and Allison Dahl, our fabulous VPs of Fundraising logged many hours to bring us these beloved new items. We extend our gratitude to them and we invite you to do the same when you see them! Thank you!

Open Positions:

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the Wellington PTO Volunteer Interest Form 2022-23!

  • We have a call for 2 Co-Chairs for this year’s Multicultural Night (Spring 2023). Help organize one of the most engaging community events at Wellington by using your skills to select a theme, find cultural entertainment, organize student sign-ups for their chosen countries, and coordinate volunteers as needed. This event showcases and celebrates the diversity of our school community - please help make it a success again this school year! We have held this event for many years so there is a playbook to help guide the new co-chairs, and as always you will have the PTO board’s support! If you are interested, please contact wellingtonptopresidents@gmail.com
  • ASE is hiring for our Winter and Spring, 7 Week sessions! Interested in teaching a one hour class? We can’t offer this popular program without instructors. Parents / Guardians have taught classes in running, meditation, languages, and LEGO just to name a few! Have an idea? We’d love to hear from you! ase.wellington@gmail.com
  • Our dynamic After School Extracurricular team is expanding. Come and be a part of this rewarding program! Help to brainstorm new offerings, develop the schedule, liaise with teachers and outside vendors, communicate with families! Job can be done remotely. Reach out to ase.wellington@gmail.com for more information.
