Opening Remarks

We enjoyed seeing so many of you at the Fall Picnic. Thank you to our Community Events team for hosting a fun night with food trucks!

Last night was our first DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Committee meeting of the school year. This year, we are aiming for rotating leadership at meetings to ensure more equity and inclusion within the committee. Save the date: October 18th is the next virtual meeting. All are welcome!

Notable Mentions

HOLD THAT POSE! Due to the strong chance of inclement weather tomorrow, Picture Day has been postponed to Friday, September 23 for K-4 students. Order via www.haywardphotography.com, code WELF22, or mail payment with the paper form. Preorders through October 3 (yes, that’s after picture day!) will benefit the PTO.

Fall Wellington Teacher & Staff Appreciation Brunch - Friday, September 30th 8:00am

The PTO hosts appreciation events throughout the school year, and we'd love your help! Let's show the Wellington teachers and staff how much we value their dedication with a brunch following curriculum night. The PTO receives many words and notes of thanks as these quarterly events are a highlight of the school year. We typically serve around 100 teachers and staff, so your support is greatly appreciated!

Some classes still need Library Volunteers!

ASE - Be sure to check out our sneak peek on Monday, September 26. Read all about our fall course offerings and set your plan for registration on Monday, October 3 at 7 am.

One last plea! Please help make field trips, in-school enrichment programs and teacher appreciation events (and more!) possible this year by making an annual donation to the PTO. Every dollar you give supports Wellington students, teachers and our community, and it's tax deductible.

  • Pay online via credit card
  • Send a check payable to Wellington PTO (Memo: “Annual Fund” and your child’s name) and return to school in their Communications Folder OR mail to: Wellington School, ATTN: Wellington PTO, 121 Orchard Street, Belmont, MA 02478
