The ASE/BOKS program offers Wellington students opportunities to practice skills and learn new hobbies in a familiar and safe environment with their peers. All classes are taught by qualified instructors with active CORIs on file. We offer a wide range of age-appropriate and enriching classes designed to be fun and engaging for all students. ASE/BOKS is a fundraising program, coordinated by PTO volunteers. All proceeds raised from registration fees benefit the Wellington PTO which funds in-school enrichment activities, field trips, classroom supplies, school-wide community events and more!

 *ASE/BOKS classes do not qualify as a child care program licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care or any other state agency.

• ASE classes are held immediately after school from 3:05 - 4:05pm for 7 weeks, unless otherwise noted.

• There are no ASE classes on Wednesdays.

• BOKS is a fun, evidenced-based, physical fitness class run by our Wellington PE teacher, offered twice per week before school from 7:40-8:25am.

• BOKs helps get kids moving and their brains ready for a successful day of learning. 

We offer 3 sessions per year: Fall, Winter, Spring. Enrollment is conducted online, through Sawyer and families must create a free Sawyer account in order to register. Enrollment dates and class offerings are shared with families via Wellington PTO newsletters, flyers sent home with students, and the Wellington PTO Facebook group.

Class enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Many classes fill up quickly. We encourage families to sign up for a Sawyer account prior to registration going live, in order to save time. Waiting lists are created and parents are contacted as soon as a spot becomes open or a new class opportunity is created. This is sometimes soon after enrollment, but spots may become available as late as the first week of class. You will only be notified if your child receives a spot.

Transfers between classes (space permitting) can only be accommodated before the end of the registration period.

Enrollment fees will be returned if (1) a course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment (most classes require a minimum of 6-8 students), or (2) a cancellation is requested and processed in advance of the first day of the session. Otherwise, your payment is non-refundable. If eligible for a full refund, you will be refunded the total amount of the class, minus a 3% + $0.30 Stripe Credit Card processing fee as these fees are non refundable, as well as the booking fee.
