Introducing Our New Assistant Principal

Dear Wellington Families,

I hope that each and every one of you is having a fabulous summer!  Despite the rain and the heat, I have enjoyed the slower pace of each day as well as weekends exploring New England with my family.  A few weeks ago, while sitting next to a river, a bald eagle flew over our heads.  It was such a beautiful moment.

It is my pleasure to introduce to you our new part-time Assistant Principal, Molly Carone.  Molly is coming to us from New York where she was an Early Childhood Director within the Archdiocese of New York. She has Master’s Degrees in Literacy and School Leadership and has a range of educational leadership experiences ranging from early childhood to middle school. We are thrilled to have Molly join the Wellington family.  Thank you to screening committee members, Tara Donner, Cara Dwyer, Leanne Guarino,  Michele Markley, and Laura Zanin for their hard work during the interview process.

I know that you and your children are eagerly awaiting class placements for the fall.  Teacher names and class lists will be sent out digitally by the end of next week along with information about the beginning of the school year.  Thank you for your patience as we work hard to prepare the most accurate and up-to-date class lists for you.

I look forward to seeing you and your children soon. In the meantime, I hope that you enjoy lots of swimming, hiking, walking, relaxing, or whatever brings you joy.

With warmest regards,
