Student iPad Tips

iPad Backup Guidelines

Each student is responsible for ensuring their iPad and apps are backed up on a daily basis. Don’t risk losing your notes and other documents because you didn’t backup. Here are some tips which make it easier to be certain you are backing up properly. If you are unsure if you set things up properly, come to the Technology Office, 9:00AM – 3:00PM.

Profiles and Other iPad Settings

Your iPad has several profiles installed (Settings> General > Profiles). Profiles are used to manage your iPad and to allow use of the wireless network. You should never delete a profile. If you do so, you will risk losing data and is a violation of the Student Acceptable Use Policy.

Also, never reset any other settings on your iPad without consulting with the Technology Department.


Remember your 4 digit passcode lock. You should write it down somewhere at home. If you forget the passcode, the iPad will have to be erased.
