Anti-Bullying Day - Wear Orange on September 22
What is Unity Day (Anti-Bullying) at CMS?
The Chenery is a safe community for all students and adults. This can only be achieved when we respect each other’s differences and come together to improve our school culture.
The Chenery is a place where we are
Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn: Everybody, Everywhere, Every Day
This means every day we value the diverse cultures, religions, and backgrounds of the entire CMS community and we respect others regardless of their beliefs or practices to create an atmosphere where everyone can safely BE Themselves. As we work toward this daily goal to shape the culture of CMS and make sure it is a place where EVERYONE is welcome and safe, the Chenery Student Council sponsors a monthly
Unity (Anti-Bullying) Day
All students and staff are asked to take a stand to Unite Against Bullying, Violence and all Injustices by wearing Orange on Wednesday, September 22.
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
