During routine gas work in our neighborhood the work crew hit a waterline. Due to the work that is needed for repairs, Washington Street between Goden Street and Lincoln Street will be closed. Please take this into consideration during dismissal pick up time.

It was another wonderful week of learning and enrichment. Students are more familiar with the routines and procedures of their classrooms as well as the building.

Last week was a wonderful week as we were able to host our Curriculum Night for the Lower School and meet many families. We are looking forward to meeting Upper School families this week and share details about the wonderful things students will be learning about and participating in this school year.

Beginning Monday, October 3rd, you will have the opportunity to schedule Parent-Teacher Conferences online. Each conference is 10 or 20 minutes long. During the scheduled conference, if your child is in grade 6, 7, or 8, you will meet with your child’s Math/Science teacher(s) for 10 minutes and then for 10 minutes with your child’s ELA/Social Studies teacher(s). All conferences this year will be VIRTUAL.

We hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the nice weather. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful first couple days of school last week. Students were actively learning and collaborating. It has been wonderful working with them.

It is hard to believe the 2022-2023 school year is only days away! Gene O’Brien and the custodial staff have been hard at work preparing the building, and educators have been energetically setting up learning spaces. It has been nice to have staff in the building with us once again as we are all excited to get back to school and welcome our Chenery students back into the building.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We are excited to get back to school and welcome our Chenery students back into the building.
