Dear Chenery Families,

It is hard to believe that we only have 13 more days left of school! Please be mindful of our calendar and "important" sections of the newsletter as there are many more celebrations and events to be aware of.

This week we are starting our student tours to Belmont Middle School! We are excited to be able to show students their new learning spaces. Thank you to the staff who will be accompanying the students from Chenery to BMS.

Please note:

Closed toe shoes are mandatory.

Students may NOT bring backpacks.

No photos or videos are allowed.

Follow any directive given by building personnel.

Students MUST stay with teachers.

I also want to share that our wonderful crossing guard would like to thank all Chenery walkers and bikers for a safe and fun year and all drivers for their patience in helping us get your students to and from school calmly and efficiently.  He wishes all of the students a wonderful summer!

Finally, I would like to encourage all of our students to commemorate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month by participating in an essay contest!

Belmont  Celebrates AAPI Heritage (BCAH) is sponsoring a student essay contest where winners will receive gift certificate prizes and publication in a book! This essay contest is for the 7-12th grade students. For more information click here.

Here is this week's newsletter. Have a great week!
