The PTO coordinates the 8th Grade Class Night Party (the last week of school) and the 8th Grade Moving Up Reception (the last day of school).
We are excited to add an enrichment this year for 7th and 8th graders. Urban Improv will present realistic scenes to open discussions on difficult subjects such as bullying, peer pressure, prejudice, stereotyping and racism. This workshop was chosen to create community building and to empower all students. Different topics will be chosen for each session. Rehearsal for Life
We are also bringing back Dr. Mykee Fowlin for another year of presentations to the 7th and 8th grade. Mykee’s “programs combine both his professional acting talents and his psychological training. His mission is to create an atmosphere of worldwide inclusion, not just tolerance, towards all people. He has worked extensively with all age groups in the United States and in other countries.” Mykee Fowlin
Many parent volunteers are needed to make these event a success. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
