Important Holiday Travel Reminder For Families

Important Holiday Travel Reminder For Families

Dear Butler Community,

Thank you for your ongoing efforts to provide a safe environment for everyone in our school. Following the Thanksgiving break, we ask that you continue these efforts by adhering to our guidelines and the state travel ban.

Please Review Prior To Your Child’s Return to School on Monday 12/7

  1. HAVE YOU TRAVELLED OUT OF STATE? Currently, the only state that is NOT considered high risk is Hawaii. The Massachusetts travel order requires testing with travel to all other states.

If your family travelled out of Massachusetts for Thanksgiving, a PCR COVID test is needed to return to school on Monday 12/7.

Students that travelled must be cleared by the school nurse before returning to in person learning.

Stop the Spread provides FREE COVID testing.

If you have travelled, please notify our school nurse as soon as possible to ensure a safe return for your child.

  1. IS YOUR CHILD EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS? It is imperative that you look at the symptom checker  Daily symptom checker each day that your child is scheduled for in person school.

If you participated in large gatherings or are experiencing symptoms of illness, we urge you to get a PCR test.

As always, if you have any questions or anything here needs further clarification, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Stay well!
