Digital Programs and Resources for This Summer

Dear Families,

I hope your summer vacation has gotten off to a good start.  I've been reflecting on how wonderful our last days were together, which was a true gift after such a difficult year.  If you'd like to watch some of our 4th grade parade from yesterday, you can view it at this link.  It was a quite a joyful send off!

In order to help keep up your child's skills over the summer, your child's teacher sent out reading lists and a math activity calendar with plenty to help them practice (off screen!).  A very big thank you to our amazing district curriculum specialists, Jessica DeFrances and Jaynene Dellitt-Young, who worked tirelessly this spring to support teachers in supporting your children's learning, and who created these summer resources for you.  All summer resources will be available on our website soon in a special section for you. Summer Resources for Families.

I'm delighted to share the news that the district will be extending our Lexia and Dreambox subscriptions through the end of next school year, which means that both programs will be available to elementary students all summer.  We are extremely grateful to our district leaders and curriculum specialists for finding a way to be able to provide our children with continued access to these two high quality programs.

Have a fantastic summer!

With every good wish,

Principal Betancourt
