Butler Family Picnic - Still Time To Contribute to the Butler PTA

Last Friday, the PTA welcomed everyone back to the Butler with a successful Fall Picnic. Thank you to all the Butler families who came to enjoy the playground, catch up with old friends, and made new ones on a beautiful Friday night. Thank you, Sabrina Chen and Sarah Applewhite for coordinating the event. We...

  • served 88 pizzas from Nick's II in Belmont
  • passed out 120 popsicles
  • raffled 21 prizes including gifts from Star Market, Moozy's, Comella's, Ranc's, the Nail Lounge, Art's, Trader Joe's, Elements Massage in Belmont.
  • had 44 families (15% of the families at the Butler School) contribute to the PTA with a total of $4,622.

This year, our goal is to have at least 100 family contribute to the PTA before November 1. If you have not yet made a contribution to the PTA, you can still contribute. Please go to our website online

We need your help: The PTA uses funds to bring in speakers and programs for presentations, assemblies, field trips, teacher supplies, teacher appreciation, community-building and educational events, hundreds of library and classroom books, and some larger purchases, like Chromebooks for third and fourth grades. The PTA spends approximately $120 per student, per academic year. Each grade receives funding based on the number of students in the grade.
