Early Dismissal Reminder

Good Morning Burbank Families,

In case anyone missed the message that was sent out last night, please be advised that due to the high heat:

Burbank students will be dismissed early today at 1:40 pm. Please be sure to make arrangements to pick up your child(ren) at 1:40.

Dear Families and Staff:

Given the current heat wave and concerns for our students and staff we will be dismissing school early tomorrow.

Monday, June 7, 2021 will have the following dismissal times for all students and staff:

  • Belmont High will dismiss at 1:30 pm.
  • Chenery Middle School will dismiss at 1:15 pm.
  • Butler, Burbank and Wellington will dismiss at 1:40 pm.
  • Winn Brook will dismiss at 1:50 pm.

Please note the following:

  • Lunch will be served in all schools.
  • Belmont High School will have morning MCAS as planned.
  • All after school care programs are cancelled.
  • All after school activities are cancelled.
  • We encourage all students and staff to hydrate, bring a water bottle and dress with the heat in mind.
  • Remote instruction will end at these times as well.
