Dear Families,

We have a few events in November and some reminders!  First reminder is that there is no school this Thursday, 11/11, in honor of Veteran's Day.

LIBRARY NIGHT

Please join us at 6:30 on Wednesday 11/10 to hear three special guests (hint, they might be your teachers!) read us some amazing stories at our annual Library Night.  All story lovers in your family are welcome to join this virtual event.

PTA MEETING

On Wednesday 11/17 we will hold our first PTA meeting of the year from 7:00 to 8:00pm  This will be a virtual meeting (link will be send next week) for parents to have the chance to hear about PTA plans for the year, say hello to the current school leadership (Janice Darias or if known, the new interim Principal), discuss our new PTA Diversity Equity and Inclusion work, and hear from teachers about their antiracism efforts within the school.  There will be opportunities to have at least some questions answered, and PTA Board Members will be available at the end of the call for additional discussion about PTA initiatives for the 2021-22 school year.

ANNUAL APPEAL UPDATE

We have reached 42% of our goal of $28,000 to support our enrichment programs, community building events, and school projects. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed.  We still need to raise $16,000 to support all our planned activities this school year.  You can help!
