Oct 8, 2021 PTA News: Sign Up to Help at Fall Social

Dear Parents,

If you are available to help spread woodchips on the playground today after school or on Saturday, please email us your availability at maryleeburbankpta@gmail.com.  We need a few small groups to get it done!

But, for the real fun, volunteer at the Fall Social next Friday, October 15th!  Volunteer slots are 30 minutes long so you can enjoy the Social as well as helping out.  We need some help setting up, running activities, and helping clean up.  Thank you in advance for helping make this event possible!

PS - It is highly recommended that volunteers at outside events who are directly interacting with students wear a mask.  We've heard a few questions about masks so hope to clarify. In the case of the two items above, as examples, wood chipping is not interacting with students.  Setting up or cleaning up at the Social is not interacting with students.  However, running the pumpkin decorating station at the Social would be interacting with students.  We appreciate everyone's support with creating the most safe and inclusive environment possible for all our families participating in these optional activities!
