03. What is the procedure for absences and being late?

If you know your child will be late to school, please call the Attendance Line by 8AM on the day they are late. A student’s tardiness will remain unexcused unless we are contacted by a parent/guardian.

If the school does not hear from parents or a guardian, school personnel will make efforts to contact them. Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. will be considered tardy and must sign in at the main office to receive a pass.

Please note: If a student is absent from school, he or she may not participate in after school or evening activities on that day without prior approval from a building administrator.
