Happy snow day, BHS. I hope that you are able to make the most of the day, hopefully by slowing down and taking time for some self-care. This week I have been really grateful to the staff for pivoting once again with this new health situation, and extremely proud of our BHS students who have been mature and responsible throughout the week. I believe that everyone is taking the health situation seriously, and doing a great job adjusting to where we are right now. I would like to extend my warmest wishes for good vibes and a joyful, peaceful holiday break. I am really proud of everyone this year for doing so well in our first long stretch of normal school since the start of the pandemic. I am so impressed with how everyone has adjusted to being back at school, continuing to wear masks, and figuring out a new building. I know this Fall was not perfect, but it has been a really good start. It is a short break this year, so please do whatever you can to step away and rest. We will be back on Monday January 3, 2022.

So far this year, we have been able to have after school athletics and concerts, as well as fairly normal classes, with group work, science labs, and opportunities for discussions and collaboration.

I know that you have heard from me multiple times this week. I end the week feeling very grateful for our students and staff for sharing holiday spirit despite the many stressors we are working through. The band playing Sleigh Ride at the end of the day today was a great way to transition to the weekend.
