Remote/Hybrid Decision:

Over the last week we have received requests from families to change their child’s remote/hybrid decision. If you would like to make a change prior to our October 22nd start, please email Ms. Carol Ouellette at couellette@belmont.k12.ma.us. After next week, changes can only occur at the end of a quarter/term. We are working with teachers to complete our plan for remote only students. More information will be sent out about this plan shortly.

Preparing for Thursday:

As we look forward to next Thursday’s hybrid start, we wanted to provide students and families with actionable steps that they can take to prepare:

  1. Please secure headphones and two masks. Students should bring these items to school.
  2. Please implement the habit of charging your device. Students must arrive at school with fully charged devices.
  3. Please practice mask-wearing if you are not used to wearing a mask for a prolonged span of time.
  4. Please bring a backpack. You will be unable to use your locker this year.
  5. Please familiarize yourself with the following policies:
    1. All hallways will follow a one-way traffic flow,
    2. Masks must be worn at all times.
    3. Students will have to sanitize their hands at the beginning and end of class.
    4. Students will be assigned to a monitored space and a specific desk during free periods.

Cohort information will be sent out before the Thursday start.
