Your Voice Matters - Session 2;
SCHOOL RE-OPENING AND TRANSITIONING TO HYBRID LEARNING FOR CHILDREN WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES
Date: Wednesday, October 14th, 6:30- 9pm
The Belmont Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is holding its second Parent Information Session (PIS) on October 14th starting at 6:30pm. This session will continue our conversation, now that school has re-opened and transitioning to a hybrid model for children with different abilities. It will also be a time for the Department of Student Services (Ken Kramer and Jonathan Libby), the Lexington, Arlington, Belmont, Burlington, Bedford (LABBB) collaborative (Patric Barberi), and our Integrated Pre School (Briana Wall) to answer your questions and listen to your concerns and suggestions. The feedback you provide will have a direct impact on the training that teachers will have during the school year to better serve your children.
We know this academic year is not like anything we have ever experienced. We are concerned that all students must face new and different back to school challenges. We continue to hear from parents who have specific questions about their children's Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and services received from their school. We are interested to hear from as many parents as possible so we can gather and share collective feedback with administrators and teachers. We look forward to your participation.
