The library offers a resource collection chosen to complement the high school curriculum. This collection supports students’ research, appreciation of literature and class assignments. Materials selected include print, non-print, and on-line resources. The library is continually expanding its subscription collection of site-licensed online databases. Several of these subscriptions are provided through membership in the Massachusetts Library System

Computers

Computers are located throughout the first and second floor of the library. Only school-licensed programs are provided. Access to the internet is bound by the Belmont Public Schools Internet Acceptable Use Policy. All areas of the library have wireless connectivity.

Library - First Floor

The first floor library seats 110 at individual carrels and tables. The resource collection is located in this area. Computers are configured for online research, assignments with reserved and specialized software, and the library’s catalog.

Library- Mezzanine

This area is reserved for National Honor Society tutors and the students they are tutoring. Nobody else may be in this area at any time.
