Varsity, JV and Freshman
Volleyball tryouts for all teams will begin on Monday, August 24th at BELMONT HILL SCHOOL and will be every day (except Sundays and potentially labor day weekend) prior to the start of school. Tryout times will be announced later in the summer and different levels will likely be at different times.
Players will select the level of team they wish to try out for (Varsity, JV, Freshmen) and will be moved up/down as the coaches deem appropriate.
Cuts will be made at the coaches discretion, allowing players a minimum of 3 sessions to demonstrate their skills. Players will be evaluated on individual skills (particularly passing and serving), game play, and physical fitness.
- No jewelry of any kind should be worn during tryouts.
- Candidates should bring sneakers and/or court shoes, knee-pads and a water bottle.
- Preseason tryouts and practices will be physically demanding. It is in your best interest to show up in shape and ready to play at the best of your ability
Interested candidates can contact Ms. Jen Couture, Varsity Volleyball Coach, at email@example.com anytime for more information.
