Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 - Friday, May 7, 2021
I write to inform you about new cases of confirmed COVID-19 in our school community.  We received confirmation from the Belmont Department of Health on 5/3/2021 regarding these cases. This is what we know for certain at this time: The Department of Health received confirmation of a laboratory testing report indicating that two school community members (i.e., student or staff) at the W.L. Chenery Middle School have been diagnosed with positive cases of COVID-19.

Superintendent's Newsletter April/May 2021

Our educators were celebrated during Teacher appreciation week on May 3 through May 7. The PTA/PTO provided food trucks at schools, snacks and treats in teacher break rooms, and other various terrific ways to show our educators how much they mean to us. During this appreciation week, we want to thank our faculty, staff, school administrators, and families for their flexibility and support during this pandemic year. In addition, we also want to thank the advisory and working groups for volunteering their time and their help in unpacking the challenges associated with returning first to hybrid and then to full in-person learning. This work helped pave the road back in April for all our students to attend school full in-person, if they chose to do so.
