Summer Reading Lists 2021
The Summer Reading Lists are a joint project of the Belmont Public Schools and the Belmont Public Library. They are designed to encourage students in Belmont to make reading a habit, raising both their interest in and level of reading. These books and works from authors are available to view in print and as e-books and e-audiobooks that can be borrowed free of charge from the Belmont Public Library’s collections in Libby and in Hoopla.

Superintendent's Newsletter June 11, 2021

Congratulations to our high school seniors who graduated on June 5. This year, we had graduation outside on Harris Field rather than the BHS Field House. It was a beautiful day, and it was wonderful to be able to celebrate this event and be together. We wish our graduates well in their future endeavors. We also want to congratulate and recognize our eighth grade class who move up to the high school, and our fourth grade class who will move up to Chenery.

Superintendent's Newsletter April/May 2021

Our educators were celebrated during Teacher appreciation week on May 3 through May 7. The PTA/PTO provided food trucks at schools, snacks and treats in teacher break rooms, and other various terrific ways to show our educators how much they mean to us. During this appreciation week, we want to thank our faculty, staff, school administrators, and families for their flexibility and support during this pandemic year. In addition, we also want to thank the advisory and working groups for volunteering their time and their help in unpacking the challenges associated with returning first to hybrid and then to full in-person learning. This work helped pave the road back in April for all our students to attend school full in-person, if they chose to do so.
