It’s our High School seniors last day of school! Come June, our seniors will graduate, our 8th graders will move up, and all our Belmont Public School students will finish a school year that saw us get closer to ‘back to normal’. Thank your child’s teacher, or other special staff member, by honoring them with a STAR Award from the Foundation for Belmont Education. With a donation of $25 for each award (or $100 for 5 awards) to the Foundation for Belmont Education, your honored recipient will receive a personalized certificate with the name of the donor and an optional personal message.

I write to inform you that new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in our school community. One hundred and fifty-eight (158) new COVID-19 positive cases in the district: (26) Belmont High School, (48) Chenery Middle School, (31) Burbank Elementary School, (21) Butler Elementary School, (17) Winn Brook Elementary School, and (15) Wellington Elementary School.

To everyone who participated in or contributed to the 2022 AAPI 5K Run ‘n’ Walk, the Belmont Chinese American Association (BCAA) is extremely grateful. This inaugural event attracted close to 350 participants, 250+ pre-registered and 80+ day-of registrations. This was truly a community-wide event: people with an amazing diversity in age, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, etc., came together to show their support to the AAPI community in Belmont and the Belmont Celebrates AAPI Heritage Fund.

LexPride offers Rainbow Artists as an opportunity for LGBTQ+ youth and allies to learn and grow creative expression skills with a community of peers. An experienced creative expression art therapist and an art therapy intern facilitate the meetings, which take place via Zoom.
