The Belmont Health Department is sharing information with the Belmont Public Schools to help keep it informed about a respiratory illness caused by a new coronavirus – named “2019 nCov” – that was first detected in Wuhan, China and continues to spread.

The FBE’s Annual Fundraiser is our largest event and last year raised more than $150,000 for the Belmont Public Schools. These funds enabled the FBE to enrich the public schools by funding innovative programs for students and teachers. Belmont High School Fencing Team had a Great First Meet

The Belmont High School Fencing Team held its first meet in the history of our school on Friday, January 17, 2020 at a dual meet at the Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The Belmont High School fencers competed against fencers from Dana Hall and St. Johns Prep and our team did very well. The first year, by rule, is a qualifying year for the team. Let’s hope the Belmont High School fencers qualify for next year’s Massachusetts High School Fencing Championship Tournament!

BHS Quiz Team Qualified for Nine Seasons Straight!

Congratulations to our BHS Quiz Show team, and the entire Belmont High School community on being one of 17 teams that has earned a place to compete on High School Quiz Show Season 11!  They have qualified for nine seasons straight and hold the record for the longest streak of qualifying for the WGBH High School Quiz Show!
