Superintendent Screening Committee updates and Focus Group Opportunities

The Belmont Superintendent Screening Committee began its work to recruit a new Superintendent of Schools. A summary of work may be found on the Superintendent Screening page of the Belmont Public Schools website. The Screening Committee will conduct a series of virtual focus groups for students, staff, and families. Participants will be asked for input on what they consider to be the most effective characteristics for the district's next superintendent. This will be a time commitment of 75-90 minutes.

Superintendent Search Update from the School Committee

On behalf of the Belmont School Committee, I write to you with updates about the search for the next Superintendent of the Belmont Public Schools. The Belmont School Committee put out a request for quotes for a collaborative executive search firm to work with the School Committee and the community in recruiting a new Superintendent of Schools to be selected by the end of March, 2023.
