Due to continued uncertainty and ever-changing guidelines on hosting large indoor events, yet again, we will not be holding our traditional Spring Gala Fundraiser in 2022. Please do support us so we may continue to support our students in the Belmont Public Schools with innovative and enriching educational experiences.
Thanks to you, last year the FBE:
- created Rapid Response Grants to support teachers as they navigated challenges that arose from the pandemic
- donated headsets to amplify the volume of teachers’ voices so that they could be heard clearly while speaking through masks all day
- bought robotics kits for a project-based hands-on learning technical engineering class for every sixth grader at Chenery Middle School
- funded instruments for a new school-based music program called Modern Band, an innovative class in which students learn and perform contemporary music from the last 60 years
