Announcing the Belmont High School Principal

Isaac Taylor, High School Principal

Mr. Isaac Taylor has accepted the position of Principal of Belmont High School. His work in the District will begin on July 1st, 2019.

Mr. Taylor began his career in 2001 as an English and psychology teacher. In 2009 he became the Head of the Departments of Psychology, Citizenship, and Careers and then the Assistant Principal. Following his graduate school principal internship at Boston Latin Academy, Mr. Taylor served as the Interim Head of School at the Laurel School.  For the past four and a half years, Mr. Taylor has been principal of North Middlesex Regional High School. His tenure at North Middlesex has involved coordinating the building of and moving into a new school.

Mr. Taylor earned a Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, a Master’s degree in education management from King’s College London, University of London, a teacher certification from Canterbury Christ Church University College, and a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School.
