Positive Town Vote for 7-12 School - Thank You

Dear Faculty, Staff, Parents and Guardians:

It is with great respect and gratitude that I write to thank the Town of Belmont for  a positive vote on the 7-12 Belmont High School project.

The Town of Belmont is fortunate to have wonderful and hard-working community members, volunteers, educators and staff who helped shape the work and supported this project over the last two years. There were many meetings where our school and community  members participated in discussions and voiced their hopes and concerns to help shape the project model. In addition, there were those volunteers who worked tirelessly on the campaign for a Yes vote. This truly was a community effort.

The Belmont High School Building Committee members, Town Department Heads and Town leaders have committed an incredible amount of time, effort, and hard work to this project and deserve a huge thank you; in particular Bill Lovallo and Pat Brusch for their leadership.

There is one more step - with a positive vote at our November 13, 2018 Town Meeting, Belmont citizens can look forward to the future with state-of-the-art facilities that support amazing teaching and learning opportunities for our children.

Thank you for you entrusting us with this endeavor, and we will continue to work diligently to ensure the 7-12 school is one the Town can be proud of for the next 50 years.
