Butler Electronics Recycling Day - May 9

Saturday May 9th is a good day to RECYCLE!  For the second year in a row, The Butler Electronics Recyling Day and the DPW Recycling Day are working together to give you a super decluttering opportunity.

Butler Electronics Recycling Day  8:30 am-11:30 am, rain or shine

The Butler School, 90 White Street

It’s time to “Spring Clean”, so head out to your garages, forbidden closets and scary basements. The Butler PTA is sponsoring an Electronics Recycle Day Fundraiser. We charge only:

$10 each for computer monitors

$15 each for TVs 27” diagonal or less

$20 each for TVs more than 27” diagonal or wood console TVs

$25 each for projection TVs

$15 each for large appliances (examples: washers, dryers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc.)

$35 for all you can bring: laptops, CPUs, cameras, CD ROM/DVD drives, servers, speakers, iPods & accessories, computer accessories, mice, keyboards, video equipment, copy/fax/scanner/printers, wires and parts, plugs, audio equipment, phones and phone systems, DVD players, stereos, UPS (back up systems), VCRs, walkmans & microwaves

Prices are lower than the town, and no need to purchase pickup stickers. Don’t miss this opportunity to free up space. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our vendor will securely dispose of computers, but we suggest wiping your hard drive as an extra precaution.

NOTE: We accept cash or checks only!   

DPW Recycling Day  9:00 am-1:00 pm

Town Yard, 37 C Street

You can recycle: large, rigid plastics, textiles (even ripped or stained), styrofoam, Hard/Soft Cover Books, DVDs, CDs, Eyeglasses.  They will also provide secure paper shredding (5 box limit).
