First Church of Belmont Unitarian Universalist Non-Profit and Volunteer Fair 

“A Path to Caring”

Saturday, March 7, noon-4:00 p.m., 404 Concord Avenue

Featured Speaker Richard Weissbourd at 3:00 p.m.

Meet the Non-Profits, learn about their services, get involved and help if you can:

Come and meet more than 20 Non-Profit organizations at the Fair.  The organizations have a direct link to Belmont, either by location the people it serves or the involvement of Belmont residents.  You will learn about what these organizations do from helping others learn English to making Quilts donated to Victims of Violence to finding homes for kittens and cats and more.

Speaker Rick Weissbourd:

Rick WeissbourdSenior Lecturer and Co-Director of the Making Caring Common (MCC) Project at the Harvard Graduate School of Education will speak about “Raise Caring, Ethical and Happy Children”.

Childcare will be provided during Rick Weissbourd’s talk with prior notification by emailing apathappearsinbelmont@gmail.com by March 6 at 5:00 p.m.

“Hands on activities for kids” Waverley Arts is supplying materials to make cards for soldiers for Operation American Soldiers.
