One Hundred Days of School and Counting

Belmont reached 100 days of school on February 23, and schools recognized the day with various activities.  Winn Brook set a goal of collecting 100 food or toiletry items per class by this date, benefiting the Belmont Food Pantry.  Parent volunteers helped transport the donations to the Pantry. The students counted their donations and made graphs illustrating the number of items in various categories.

Burbank  Kindergarten teacher Brenda Johnston’s class counted 100 dots counting by ten, made 100 day hats, counted pony beads in sets of five or ten, and had other counting activities.  Enjoy some pictures marking 100 days of school.
