There are eleven or twelve early release days each year, usually on Wednesdays. The release day afternoons are used for parent conferences or for teachers' professional development activities. The day before Thanksgiving is a release day, as is Good Friday. Early dismissal for all students is at 11:50 a.m., with no lunch served.

All students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to be consumed during the morning recess break. This snack helps students sustain their energy until lunchtime. Children have the option, on a daily basis, of bringing a lunch from home or purchasing it at school. Students may also purchase milk or sweet desserts separately.
Lunch Menu is posted on the school web site
