Dear Winn Brook Families:
I deeply miss our wonderful community and hope we will be back together before too long. Last week, we shared our first resource document (linked here). Although the lists are curated, I’d like to highlight two particularly powerful programs. Dream Box (math) and Lexia (reading) are both adaptive programs which provide instruction and practice targeted specifically to each individual child’s needs. If you are looking at our lists and trying to decide among the options, I would recommend that you focus the bulk of your child’s computer time on these two programs. K-2 students currently have Lexia accounts and they will be available to our 3rd and 4th graders very soon. Both programs allow our teachers to monitor students’ progress remotely.

Hello Winn Brook Families:
I miss all of my students and I hope that everyone is doing well. I will be available to answer questions and provide insight into available resources that can assist your child to remain active during this time period we are separated from each other. Monday through Friday, I will be available through email during the hours if 9-10:30.
