We value your input and want to promote effective, two-way communication which may involve several options:
Email —This is generally a preferred method of communication for staff unless the topic is highly sensitive or time sensitive. Please be aware that teachers do not have time to read and respond to email while school is in session because students require their full attention.
Notes — Please feel free to send notes in with your child in the morning. This is particularly important when there are changes in dismissal plans.
Meetings & phone calls — If you need to discuss a sensitive subject, we’d encourage you to use email to set up a time to meet or connect by phone. Please do not drop by without first scheduling a time. Teachers want to have productive conversations with parents but this can’t be accomplished when they are working with children or preparing lessons.
