BELMONT SCHOOL COMMITTEE MINUTES Present: Mr. John Bowe, Chair Also in attendance was Mr. Richard Warren, consultant from Future Management Systems.
OPENING BUSINESS 1.1 Call to Order At 7:10 p.m. Mr. Bowe called the School Committee to order in the Small Community Room of the Chenery Middle School.
EXECUTIVE SESSION At 7:11 p.m., on a motion offered by Mr. Bowe and seconded by Ms. Graham, it was VOTED: unanimously on a roll call vote (6-0) to enter executive session, with a plan to return to Open Session, for the purposes of conducting a strategy session in preparation for negotiations with candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools.
At 7:45 p.m., on a motion offered by Ms. Rittenburg and seconded by Ms. Gibson it was VOTED: unanimously to return to Open Session. Members of the School Committee discussed the various candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools with Mr. Warren, as well as details of the remaining steps of the Superintendent Search process.
