| The Superintendent’s office is located in the School Administration Building at 644 Pleasant Street in Belmont. The Superintendent’s office includes the offices of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Finance and Administration, Human Resources Manager, Director of Student Services, Assistant Director of Student Services, and the Belmont Community Education Program. Support staff members for these positions are also located in the Superintendent’s Office.
The purpose of the Superintendent’s office is to serve the needs of the community and most especially the 3850 students in the public schools. The website for the Massachusetts Department of Education features profiles on each district in the state, including enrollment by race, ethnicity, and gender; district indicators such as attendance and retention data; statistical information on teachers; data on ELL, Low-Income, and Special Education students; technology available to students and teachers; and data on Belmont High School graduates.
